Been to a seminar like this. You cannot overstress the importance of Google AdWords nowadays, with Google holding 70% of market share between itself and engines it powers. The seminar was immensely helpful

Thanks!

Another emphasis Apple makes is on the staff in its stores. I just met a fellow today who used to work at the Apple store at Easton. He had worked in many retail operations and he said the Apple hiring process was easily the most intensive - even going to the point of having applicants prepare skits (10 minutes to prepare a PC vs. Mac ad from the current series). He also said he'd never worked in a retail environment where he'd felt more at home.

Investing in people selection is part of branding, too.

I think it is great that there is going to be focus on sustainability. You askd for some companies that are doing this well so here are some. Banks like my client, e3bank, as well as New Resource Bank and ShoreBank are giving people the power and the resources to make their own conscious consumer decisions that affect and make in impact on the environment.

Lets produce more videos - The internet is free airtime unlike a paid infomercial and it has global reach.

With production budgets dropping due to technology and reality based interests and not just "Fragmentation", budgets are lower to produce even the highest quality video.

7. "What does this mean for you? Think video...anytime, anywhere."-- Yes I agree.

WIth a great creative team and production quality to back it up, the potential is there to produce and distribute a video campaign with less than an 1/8 of a national infomercial budget and the 100x the reach.

I'm so glad I picked people that are smarter than me to lead their respective committees. A total of seven of us represented our Columbus Chapter and we all learned volumes, especially me. Some of the group session were classed into how big your chapter was and since we were promoted to group 3 from group 4, we got to sit in at the big kids table. At first it was surreal hearing the issues of chapters with 1100 or 850 members and boards up to 20-40 people. Now that I digest it I finally got it. This is where Columbus will be some day, not next year, but some day we're going to be one of the big kids. With the dedication of the board starting in July, we're definitely paving the way for greatness. I've never been prouder of the six members that came with me...truth be told I get smarter just being in the room with them!!! If you don't believe me...become a member and see for yourself...you won't regret it and will only prosper from it. Contact our VP of Membership at membership@columbusama.org
